Education

The opening of a community school in October 2011 marked an amazing milestone in the history of education in Simonette.  Until this school opened, children needed funds for both school fees and transportation to distant schools. Presently, approximately one thousand children are attending the new school!

Future plans at the school include advanced English classes and computer training.  The school plans to partner with the local church to host after school programs that will focus on spiritual and character development.

Each child living at Tytoo Gardens is given the opportunity to receive an education, which is a gift that will better prepare them to work and live as contributing members of Haitian society.
